Event Information
The Boulder Bash is back! This is our friendly freshers competition is fit for all climbers with two experience level categories. Come along for a great climb and a chilled atmosphere with prizes to be won!
If you have been climbing for less than 2 years you will be in the beginner category, you will be climbing the same 25 qualification blocs but there will not be a live final. If you have been climbing for more than two years you will be in the experienced category, again on the same blocs. This will then decide the 5 climbers who will go through to the live finals. Both experience levels will have podium presentations and prizes.
Your ticket includes entry into the wall as well as the competition. Transport to the location is also included in your ticket, the buses will be leaving the SU at about 13:00. Arrival and registration is from 13:30 until 14:00 ready for the breifing at 14:00. This will be ahead of a 14:30 start to the qualification which will end at 17:30. Live finals will then start at 18:30 and we can stay in the wall untill 23:00 for the after party and trying the finals blocs.
Pizzas and drinks will be available in the cafe for the duration of the competition.
